Following the repeated attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia on the Kingdom's airports, the spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, Major General Turki al-Maliki, revealed that the terrorist militia had carried out 20 attacks on King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, since October 1, causing 17 deaths and more than 330 injuries as a result of the Houthi attack on the airport itself, while they carried out a specific operation in response to the attacks against airports and navigation.

The official spokesman for the coalition forces indicated that the terrorist Houthi militia attempted to target dozens of airports, oil facilities and ports in the Kingdom, explaining that targeting civilian airports in Saudi Arabia caused a total of deaths amounting to about 19 deaths and 364 injuries, in the latest official toll of victims of the “Houthi aggression.”

The coalition stressed that targeting civilian airports not only affects the security of the Kingdom, but also threatens the safety of international civil aviation traffic, and exposes the lives of travelers of various nationalities to danger, which places the international community before its responsibilities in confronting these cross-border threats, according to coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al-Maliki.

In a remarkable statistic, the coalition revealed that the Houthi terrorist militia had launched about 1,104 missiles and 1,135 drones at the Kingdom since the start of operations.

In the face of these attacks, the leadership of the joint forces of the coalition carried out a qualitative operation. In response to the Houthi terrorist militia's attacks on King Khalid International Airport and other airports, ports, oil installations and commercial ships in the Red Sea, which destroyed about 127 warehouses in mountainous areas in a few days, as well as destroying many launch platforms.

The leadership of the joint forces of the coalition also stressed its strict commitment to international humanitarian law, noting that it took possible precautions to avoid causing accidental loss or damage to civilians during the planning and implementation of this operation.

In the same context, the coalition stressed that these “brutal terrorist attacks,” including the brutal attack that occurred at rush hour, do not represent targeting the Kingdom’s airports alone, but rather go beyond that to targeting the security of travelers, including citizens, brothers, friends, and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques from all over the world.

Major General Turki Al-Maliki stated in a press conference that these attacks were not an incident isolated from a series of threats and hostile attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia, but rather “they are an extension of a systematic hostile approach that targeted the purest place on Earth, Mecca Al-Mukarramah, the birthplace of revelation, the land of the Message, and the cradle of the hearts of millions of Muslims around the world, and the city of His Noble Messenger, Medina, to target pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, and it can only be described.” Heinous and brutal act.”

In return, the coalition indicated that the Houthi militia worked to obtain advanced technologies with the help of regional parties, becoming the first terrorist group to possess ballistic missiles, attack and suicide drones, and explosive speedboats, which places the international community responsible for preventing terrorist groups from obtaining advanced technologies and weapons. Because of the serious threat it poses to the regional and international security system.

At the same time, the coalition spokesman stressed in a message to the Houthis the need to immediately stop all terrorist operations targeting civilians and civilian objects, including airports, ports, oil installations and infrastructure.
