The occupation announces the assassination of a Palestinian in Jabalia and accuses him of participating in the kidnapping and killing of Shani Luke

Gaza - Ofoq News - The Israeli occupation army announced, on Tuesday evening, the assassination of Palestinian Tamer Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Sabbagh, in the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip, claiming his participation in the kidnapping and killing of Israeli Shani Luke during the attack of October 7, 2023.

The occupation army said, according to what was reported by the Hebrew “Ynet” website, that Al-Sabbagh was killed during an operation carried out yesterday in the Jabalia area, claiming that he was a member of the cell that participated in Luke’s kidnapping and killing.

The occupation army and the Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet) added that the assassination of Al-Sabbagh represents, as they described it, “the closing of an important circle,” stressing that they will continue to pursue the Palestinians whom they accuse of participating in the October 7 attack.

According to the Hebrew report, the occupation army claims that it killed four out of five people it said belonged to the elite unit of the Hamas movement and participated in the case, while the fifth person is still detained by the occupation authorities.

This operation comes in light of the continuation of Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern regions, amid continued targeting and dangers facing the Palestinian population.
