Over the past few days, warnings have escalated in Kuwait about the phenomenon of stray dogs, especially after several recent incidents.

Meanwhile, his brother Nasser confirmed yesterday, Tuesday, that his brother “was preparing for a karate match at his Burgan club, and while he was at his workplace, he went out to exercise during the break, only to be surprised by 8 rabid dogs that tried to maul him for about half an hour, while he fought them until he felt that he was going to lose consciousness, before he heard the sound of the horn of a car that belonged to one of the employees who tried to help him by keeping the dogs away from him. Then he called the ambulance and Mustafa was transferred to Farwaniya Hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care,” according to what he said. The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai reported

He also added, "Mustafa suffers from multiple injuries in various parts of his body, from the head to the feet, including a deep wound in the right leg, and a severe injury in the left hand, but the final diagnosis has not yet been decided, pending the completion of the examinations and magnetic resonance imaging." Nasser confirmed that "his brother is still suffering from the psychological effects of the accident, as if the scene was repeated before his eyes, every time he closed his eyes."

The Ministry of the Interior at the time called on citizens and residents to exercise caution when spotting stray dogs, and not to approach or provoke them, with the need to monitor children and ensure the safety of the elderly, to avoid their gathering near residential areas and public facilities.

The Ministry also stressed the importance of reporting the whereabouts of these dogs and their gathering, by calling the emergency phone (112), specifying the exact location, to take the necessary measures.
