The release of two settlers who participated in the attack on the people of Jalud

Tel Aviv - Ofek News - The Petah Tikva Magistrate Court ordered the release to house arrest of two settlers suspected of participating in the violent attacks that took place yesterday in the village of Jalud.

The police arrested three suspects in connection with the events, while one of them remained in detention.

The unit conducting the investigation submitted a request to postpone the implementation of the release decision, but today, Wednesday, the Central Court in Lod rejected the appeal submitted by the unit, and it is expected that the detainees will be released to home detention.

The court indicated in its decision that the mere presence of the detainees in the place at the time the events occurred does not, in itself, constitute sufficient evidence for the court.
