The Ministry of Interior announced in a statement today, Monday, that it has identified the woman appearing in the video, and it turned out that she holds a high school diploma and gives private lessons to students at their homes.

It was also revealed that when confronted, the woman admitted that the circulated video is old, and it was filmed three years ago by the child's sister while she was giving him a private lesson at his father's residence.

The woman also clarified that she hit the child at the request of his parents due to his negligence in his studies.

In response to a question from the child's father, who holds a diploma and resides in the same district, he confirmed what the lady said and did not accuse her of anything.

The Ministry of Interior indicated that legal procedures have been taken.

A video clip had spread on social media in recent hours, widely circulating scenes showing a lady hitting a child with a stick, which sparked reactions among social media users. The Ministry of Education confirmed in a previous statement that the physical and psychological safety of students is a priority, emphasizing that there will be no leniency with any violations within educational institutions.

It also mentioned the necessity of adhering to the school discipline regulations that prohibit the use of physical or psychological punishment in all its forms, and taking necessary actions against any violations proven by investigations.
