Yair Golan: Netanyahu and Smotrich's coalition is drowning us all in a sea of ​​terrorism

Tel Aviv - Ofoq News - The head of the Israeli Democratic Party, Yair Golan, said in response to the attack on diplomats in the West Bank, that reports of attacks on foreign diplomats by Jewish settlers in the West Bank represent a “dangerous event that requires an immediate and decisive response.”

Golan added, "The coalition of Netanyahu and Smotrich is drowning us all in a sea of ​​terrorism," noting that he has long been warning about the escalation of what he described as "Jewish terrorism" in the West Bank, the harm to the rule of law, and the danger that this poses to the security of Israel, the soldiers of the Israeli army, and Israel's international standing.

He stressed that his position is clear, saying: “Jewish terrorism must be fought with an iron hand, just as Palestinian terrorism is fought.”

He called for the reuse of administrative detention against Jewish activists whom he described as dangerous, in accordance with the law, and for the dismantling of terrorist hotbeds, the evacuation of illegal settlement outposts, and the arrest of the aggressors and their prosecution.

Golan added that if his party returns to power, the Israeli army, the General Security Service (Shin Bet), and the Israeli police will receive full support to implement the law and restore security and order to the West Bank.

He concluded by saying: "There is no immunity for Jewish terrorists, and there is no compromise with national violence, and Israeli law must apply to everyone."
