The official spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nuzaili, announced on Thursday evening that the Yemeni Air Force targeted high-value sites in the capital, Sanaa.

Al-Nuzaili said that the Yemeni army targeted 11 high-value targets in Saada.

The Yemeni Armed Forces had previously announced that its air forces carried out 27 precise and focused air strikes along the Taiz fronts, targeting an integrated military system of the terrorist Houthi militia, which included a missile warehouse, command and control centers, advanced supply and armament points, gatherings of militia members, and military vehicles and vehicles.

The strikes targeted enemy targets on 60th Street, north of the city of Taiz, Bani Omar, and the Himyar Front in Maqbanah District, east of Al-Wazi’iyah, Al-Ahkoum and Al-Athawer in Haifan District, Al-Kadaha, Jabal Numan, Al-Karifat, Aqaba Munif, Al-Tashrifat, Al-Aqroud, Sami’, and Al-Shaqab in Sabr Al-Mawadim.

The Yemeni forces statement confirmed that the raids achieved accurate and direct hits on their targets, and resulted in the destruction of dozens of military vehicles and capabilities and the neutralization of large numbers of militia members, dead and wounded.

During the past 24 hours, the Yemeni government forces and the popular resistance in Taiz had thwarted a series of attacks and infiltration attempts launched by the Houthi militia on a number of fronts in the governorate, in a wide field escalation that extended from Maqbana and Jabal Habashi in the west to Al-Aqroud and Sami in the south, and the fronts surrounding the city of Taiz.

The Taiz Axis Command said that more than 100 members of the Houthi militia were killed and dozens were injured during the confrontations, which were accompanied by air strikes targeting the group's sites and gatherings, noting the destruction and damage of a number of military vehicles and the burning of a weapons store.

According to a military source from the Armed Forces Media Center, the army and resistance forces were able to break a series of Houthi attacks that began on Wednesday evening, during which dozens of members were killed, wounded and captured, including field commanders.

The warplanes launched a series of raids on Houthi sites and gatherings in the southeast of Taiz, the Himyar front in the Maqbanah District, west of the governorate, and Bani Omar, south of the governorate, amid continuing confrontations in a number of axes.
