9 martyrs within 24 hours, and Israel attempted to assassinate Al-Amoudi

Gaza - Ofoq News - The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire file on its 362nd day in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli violations during the past 24 hours led to the death of nine citizens and the wounding of many others in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The citizen, Muhammad Akram Anan, died as a result of his wounds he sustained a few days ago during the occupation aircraft’s targeting of his apartment near Al-Shifa Hospital, which at the time resulted in the martyrdom of his wife.

Al-Aqsa Hospital announced the death of two citizens who died as a result of their sea injuries. They were Zein al-Din Hamdan, who was injured by occupation fire in the Nuseirat Camp in the central Gaza Strip, and the young man Muhammad Talaat Akl, from Jabalia Camp, who was injured by a gunshot to the head, in the Shaheen Camp area in the Umm Dhair area in Deir al-Balah at the end of September.

Earlier, citizen Mahmoud Alian Al-Bazm was martyred after he was targeted in the Abbas Kilani roundabout area, around Al-Shaima, in Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

The occupation army officially announced its attempt to assassinate the head of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Ali Al-Amoudi, and that it is waiting to know his fate.

The attempt to assassinate Al-Amoudi resulted in a massacre at dawn on Saturday in Gaza City last night, claiming the lives of five citizens and a number of injured people.

The occupation targeted the ground floor of the Al-Asala Building, west of Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of the five citizens, including four women and a young man.

The martyrs are: Maria Hafez Al-Najjar and her daughter, Maysaa Khader Abu Daoud, a Christian from Gaza, Yasmine Al-Bobo, Halloum Abdel Nasser Al-Bobo, and Bilal Muhammad Odeh, 21 years old.

At dawn today, the occupation army carried out new bombing operations east of Gaza City.

Helicopters opened fire several times east of Khan Yunis.

Statistics

Gaza Health reported that, during the past 48 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 7 martyrs (including two martyrs affected by their injuries, and one martyr whose body was recovered), and 20 injuries.

The death toll since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 74,228, while the total number of casualties reached 175,188.

She explained that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, reached 1,445, while the number of casualties reached 5,052, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 835 martyrs.

The same sources noted that 181 martyrs were added to the cumulative statistics of martyrs, after their data was completed and approved by the Martyrs Accreditation Committee, since the last addition to the statistics on 09/26/2026.
