The match was scheduled to be held next Monday at Damak Club Stadium, before it was postponed to next December 7, at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Mahalla, at 4:40 pm.

The association explained that the postponement of the match was due to logistical considerations, saying: “In setting the new dates, the association took into account the minimum rest periods between matches, in addition to the operational and organizational requirements associated with holding the matches.” She added: “These amendments are part of the organizational procedures adopted to manage the competition schedule, taking into account various considerations related to the teams’ logistical arrangements necessary to hold the matches.”

The association had previously postponed 3 matches in the ninth round, between Riyadh, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Shabab, until December 19, and Al-Ahly and Al-Nasr, until March 2027. The match between Al-Faisaly and Abha in the eighth round was also postponed to October 27, due to “circumstances beyond the clubs’ control.”

It should be noted that the Yemeni Houthi group has been targeting airports, facilities and infrastructure in the Kingdom recently.
