Hebron - Ofoq News - Media activist in the town of Beit Ummar, Muhammad Ayyad Awad, reported that the occupation forces attacked a citizen in the town today, Thursday.
Awad said that the occupation soldiers stormed the Wadi Al-Sheikh area near the entrance to Beit Ummar, where a settler, with the help of the occupation soldiers, severely beat the citizen, Muhammad Salem Al-Alami (25 years old).
He added that the occupation soldiers handcuffed Al-Allami and placed him next to a military jeep on the ground for more than two hours. They also fired tear gas bombs at the house of Omar Odeh Al-Alami, which caused part of the house to catch fire, and the citizens in the area were able to control the fire.
He pointed out that a number of citizens suffered from suffocation as a result of gas inhalation, and were treated in the field. Eventually, Al-Alami was released after an officer reviewed the surveillance cameras in the area, and it was found that the settler had committed his act without any reason.
