A spokeswoman who did not speak much...the first comment by Trump’s spokeswoman after leaving the White House.

Former White House spokeswoman, Katie Zakaria, did not wait long before breaking her silence after leaving her position just five days after taking office, but she chose for her first response to be full of praise for US President Donald Trump, avoiding entering into a public debate regarding the circumstances of her sudden departure.

In her first public statement after leaving office, Zakaria described Trump as “a kind, wonderful, generous, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man,” adding that she wished more Americans appreciated him. She stressed that no one will make America great in the way Trump did and continues to do, before concluding her message by saying that working with him was an honor for her.

The letter came after a quick end to her career in one of the most sensitive media positions in the US administration, as Trump announced his choice of Zakaria to succeed Caroline Levitt on October 9, before she left the position in the middle of the same month, following stormy days that witnessed criticism of her performance and questions about her professional background.

Zakaria's statements were not limited to her message praising Trump; The Wall Street Journal quoted her as saying that she did everything in her power to complete the press briefing despite the limited time and information available, stressing that her goal was to serve the American President and the American people to the best of her ability.

The troubles began with her first press briefing last Tuesday, when it lasted about 14 minutes, during which she only answered three questions. She also faced criticism over her willingness to engage with journalists, after she said she would need to come back with an answer to a question regarding intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

The pressure increased after questions were raised about her legal qualifications, as she admitted that she had not passed the California Bar exam, despite previously presenting herself as a lawyer. She defended the use of this description, pointing to her law studies and professional experience, while her qualifications remained the subject of media controversy.

As for Trump, he publicly indicated that he advised her to reconsider continuing in the position, saying that he did not want her to suffer from media pressure and criticism. It was reported that the White House was in no rush to appoint a replacement for her.

Thus, Katie Zakaria's experience turned into one of the shortest periods in the history of the position of White House press secretary, while her farewell message to Trump remained the most prominent thing she expressed publicly after her departure, without providing in that message a direct explanation of the reasons for her departure.
