Al-Arabiya Network correspondent, Abdul Rahman Al-Osaimi, reported that King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh, will be reopened in the coming hours, following the temporary suspension of operations following “the brutal attack it was subjected to by the terrorist Houthi militia.”

He stated, according to preliminary information, that the damage was being assessed following the attack on King Khalid International Airport, pointing out that all the injured were transferred to hospitals to receive the necessary care.

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority revealed that the “brutal attack” that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, on Saturday afternoon, caused the death of (12) people, including citizens and residents, and the injury of 309 others, according to the authority’s statement.

The authority explained that operational operations at the airport have been temporarily suspended, until the damage assessment is completed and the safety of the facilities is verified, in coordination with the competent authorities, and developments will be announced later.
