Bucharest - Afaq News - Dr. Mohammed Ayash, a member of the National and Central Councils of the Palestine Liberation Organization, congratulated the Arab Republic of Egypt, its leadership, government, people, and army, on the anniversary of the glorious October 6 victories, recalling this national and historical occasion that marked a turning point in the history of Egypt and the Arab nation, and embodied the ability of the Egyptian people and army to overcome challenges and regain land and dignity.
Dr. Ayash stated in a press statement issued from his office in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, that the memory of October 6 will remain present in the consciousness of both the Egyptian and Arab nations, due to the significant national and pan-Arab meanings it carries, and for the sacrifices and heroism demonstrated by the Egyptian armed forces during that war, emphasizing that this memory reminds us of the value of will, resilience, and sacrifice in defending the land and national rights.
The Palestinian leader added that Egypt, with its history, status, and Arab role, has always been and will continue to be present in the issues of the nation, appreciating its historical role in supporting the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause, as well as its positions regarding Jerusalem and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. Dr. Ayash extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes on this occasion to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, to the government and the brotherly Egyptian people, and to the Egyptian armed forces, asking God to protect Egypt and its people, and to grant it security, stability, and prosperity.
Dr. Ayash prayed for the souls of the martyrs of the October 6 war and all the martyrs of the Arab nation, affirming that their sacrifices will remain a source of pride and honor, and their memories will remain immortal in the pages of history.
