Egypt.. Developments in the health condition of artist Mohamed Al-Helou after “temporary cardiac arrest”

Mustafa Kamel, the head of the Syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt, announced on Sunday the completion of the operation that the Egyptian artist Mohamed El-Helou (71 years old) underwent, after the state of concern raised by his son Hamada about his health condition, as he revealed that his father was under care in an Egyptian hospital, and asked his fans to pray for him. Kamel wrote in a blog post that he posted on his personal Facebook page: “O God, praise and thanks be to you. The great artist, big brother, and great friend Muhammad Al-Helou has now left the operating room after completing the operation, and, God willing, you will be recovered well, oh beloved of the whole world.”

Hamada Al-Helou revealed to Egyptian media, on Saturday, that his father suffered “temporary cardiac arrest, and he was subjected to careful medical care, after successfully resuscitating his heart and restoring his pulse.” This health crisis suffered by the artist Mohamed Al-Helou came days after he performed two concerts as part of the activities of the 34th Arab Music Festival and Conference at the Egyptian Opera House in Cairo and Alexandria.
