Tel Aviv - Ofek News - An Israeli military source revealed on Wednesday that Tel Aviv will not launch an attack on Iran before the elections.
But at the same time, Israel is raising its alert level in case Iran or its agents attempt to interfere in the elections and launch an attack.
Israel sent messages stating that if Iran makes a “mistake,” it will launch an unprecedented attack against it.
An Israeli source said that the matter, as before, depends on what US President Donald Trump wants, and Israel will not be able to attack Iran without his approval, and it appears that Trump, at least so far, has not taken a final decision on this issue.
An Israeli source added: “There is an understanding that without ground action on the part of the Americans, there is no chance for something different and new. Repeating the same approach before the American elections will bring political disaster for Trump. We must take into account the possibility of miscalculation. The Iranians may believe that Israel is about to attack, and they will try to pre-empt it.”
