Ramallah - Ofoq News - An Israeli settler was slightly injured in the head, today, Thursday, during his attempt to attack Palestinians, which occurred near the Maoz Tzur settlement in the Binyamin area in the West Bank, coinciding with the olive harvest season.
According to the story of the Benjamin Settlement Council, three Palestinians were picking olives on pastoral lands in the area, before settlers arrived at the place and asked them to leave, and an argument broke out and an exchange of stone throwing occurred.
The Council claimed that one of the Palestinians tried to seize a weapon in the possession of a farm owner, while the latter opened fire in the air, before the occupation army forces arrived at the scene.
The incident comes in light of the escalation of attacks on Palestinian farmers during the olive season, amid repeated Palestinian complaints of attempts to prevent them from reaching their lands and seizing their crops.
