The unified electronic platform for public and governmental opinion surveys, "Istiqlaa," affiliated with the Saudi Center for Competitiveness and Business, has launched 31 projects related to economic and developmental affairs, in collaboration with 19 governmental entities; to enable stakeholders to express their views and suggestions on them before their approval.

Among the projects presented through the platform is the project "Regulatory Provisions for Profit Discussion Meetings" proposed by the Capital Market Authority; aimed at enhancing disclosure and transparency practices, and organizing regular communication between listed companies and their investors and analysts regarding their financial results and performance, which enhances the quality of information available to investors and supports their ability to evaluate company performance and make investment decisions. The survey on this project ends on October 29, 2026.

The projects proposed for survey through the platform also include the project (Regulations for Registering Satellite Network Files) proposed by the Communications, Space and Technology Authority; aimed at establishing a document to define the controls and provisions for registering, reviewing, coordinating, preserving, transferring, and utilizing satellite network files in the name of the Kingdom. The survey on this project ends on October 21, 2026, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA."

The Royal Commission for the City of Mecca and the Holy Sites published the project (Regulations and Conditions for the Entry of Passenger Transport Buses to the City of Mecca and the Holy Sites); aimed at regulating the entry of passenger transport buses into the geographical area, by organizing the issuance of permits for buses that meet the approved conditions and requirements, in a manner that is consistent with the sanctity of Mecca and the holy sites, and takes into account environmental aspects and safety requirements. The survey on this project ends on October 20, 2026.

The proposal of projects for regulations and similar matters through the (Survey) platform comes as a confirmation of enhancing transparency in the legislative environment and promoting the culture of consultation among the public, government entities, and the private sector, involving them in the formulation of projects related to the business environment.
