He added: "You were a sensitive artist. You excelled in your art, and your beautiful taste was present in everything that your hands made... You were with me through thick and thin, my rose, my butterfly, my life, and the candle that lit our lives, me, our children, and our grandchildren."

Many Arab stars were keen to console Al-Sabah on the passing of his wife through their official accounts on social media, including: Yousra, Tim Hassan, Hend Sabry, Qusay Khouli, Karis Bashar, Cyrine Abdel Nour, and Moatasem Al-Nahar. The deceased's body will be held at the Khashoggi Mosque in the Lebanese capital, following noon prayers on Thursday, October 1. She will be buried in the family cemetery in the "Martyrs" Cemetery in Beirut.
