American model Cindy Crawford mourned her son, model Presley Gerber, nearly a month after his death was announced at the age of 27. Cindy wrote, in a post she posted on her official Facebook page, on Sunday: “Our hearts are filled with indescribable pain for the loss of our beloved son and brother.

We are deeply grateful that Presley was a part of our lives for 27 years.” She added, “He was a beautiful, kind soul who loved everyone and was loved by everyone, and will remain so now and forever.”

We are very proud of the way he lived in this world, with all his kindness and human transparency.” Cindy, on behalf of her family, thanked those who contributed to their son’s death, saying: “Grateful for all the outpouring of love and support we received from so many who know and love our family, and even from strangers who shared our pain.”

She concluded by saying: “Until we meet again, our dear little one, we love you forever.” Investigators from the Santa Monica Police Department investigated the death of Cindy Crawford’s son, model Presley Gerber, as a case of “suspected overdose,” according to a media statement issued by the law enforcement agency on September 20.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office stated at the time that Gerber died while in a rehabilitation center.
