Qatari-Egyptian coordination to reduce escalation and enhance stability

Qatar News Agency reported that the Qatari Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Egyptians abroad.

They reviewed "bilateral cooperation relations and ways to support and enhance them, and the latest regional developments, especially the diplomatic efforts made and joint coordination to reduce escalation and enhance security and stability in the region."

During the call, the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister affirmed Doha’s support for all diplomatic efforts and endeavors aimed at a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
