The Saudi General Security announced the arrest of a woman who appeared in a video content that included "insulting and disrespecting" religious values, and her referral to the Public Prosecution, according to a statement issued on Tuesday. The Saudi security statement said: "The police in the Riyadh region arrested a woman who appeared in video content that included insulting and disrespecting religious constants and values."

The Saudi security added in its statement that "she has been detained and legal procedures have been taken against her, and she has been referred to the Public Prosecution." A circulated video clip shows a woman discussing some issues related to women in Islamic religion.
