The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced in a statement, on Saturday, the implementation of a “haddya” death sentence against a Saudi citizen in the Mecca region, according to what was reported by the Saudi “SPA” news agency. The Saudi Ministry of Interior said in its statement: “Muhammad bin Akram bin Muhammad Badcock, a Saudi national, lured three women at different times, took them to a remote place, robbed them, raped one of them, attempted to rape another, and killed one of them,” according to SPA.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior added: “The security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing the crime, and referring him to the competent court. A ruling was issued against him proving what was attributed to him, and that what the defendant did was considered a form of banditry and corruption in the forbidden land, as he assaulted honor and money and killed an innocent person. The ruling became final after it was confirmed by his authority, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by Sharia law regarding establishing the limit of banditry on the aforementioned person and that it be That is by killing him,” according to the ministry’s statement. The Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that “the death sentence (haddah) was carried out against the perpetrator, Muhammad bin Akram bin Muhammad Badkouk, on Saturday, on 4/22/1448 AH, corresponding to 10/3/2026 AD, in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.”
The Saudi Ministry of Interior concluded its statement by saying that, “Announcing this, it confirms to everyone the keenness of the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to establish security, achieve justice, and implement the provisions of Islamic Sharia, with regard to everyone who assaults the safe, sheds their blood, and violates their honor and their right to life and security, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do such a thing, that legitimate punishment will be his fate,” according to SPA reported.
