The Saudi General Authority for Food Security announced today the launch of the fifth tender to import wheat for this year, for a quantity of 535 thousand tons for supply during the period (November - December 2026).
The head of the Public Authority for Food Security, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Fares, said: “The quantity offered comes within the framework of the authority’s strategic plans to preserve wheat stocks and meet the needs of milling companies.”
Al-Fares added that the quantity is distributed among nine ships, three ships to Jeddah Islamic Port, three ships to Yanbu Commercial Port, two ships to NEOM Port, and one ship to Jazan Port.
