Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Fahmy, spoke to Al Arabiya/Al Hadath on Thursday about the Arab-Iranian file and developments in the region.

Fahmy stressed that the relationship with Iran is not established at the expense of America and Israel.

Fahmi called on Iran to respect good neighbourliness.

The Secretary-General refused to accept any justification for the attack on Arab lands.

He said that Iran cannot impose things on the region

Fahmy stressed that the Arab countries have shown good faith towards Iran.

Fahmy said that Arab deterrence against Iran must be military, political and economic.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League said that he informed Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi that harming any Arab land is unacceptable.

Fahmi said that the previous nuclear agreement, which was concluded during the Obama administration and was canceled by the previous Trump administration, did not take into account the interests of the Gulf states.

The Secretary-General pointed out that the previous nuclear agreement fueled Iran's hostile approach towards the region, as it had many problems.
