The "Coalition": intercepted and destroyed 3 ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis on Khamis Mushait

The Saudi-led “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen” announced in a statement on Friday that 3 ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis towards Khamis Mushait had been intercepted and destroyed. The official spokesman for the “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” Major General Turki Al-Maliki, said that “three ballistic missiles launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait were intercepted and destroyed,” according to what was reported by the Saudi “SPA” news agency.

The Houthi attack, on Friday evening, represented the second of its kind on Khamis Mushait on the same day, as the official spokesman for the "coalition" said, at dawn on Friday, that "a ballistic missile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait was intercepted and destroyed." For its part, the Saudi Civil Defense announced, on Friday evening, that an enemy projectile fired by the Houthis had fallen on a school in the city of Najran, resulting in material damage.

This came after Major General Turki Al-Maliki announced, on Thursday, the occurrence of what he described as a "terrorist attack" launched by the Houthis on the Taiba electricity distribution station in Medina. Major General Turki Al-Maliki confirmed in a statement: “A terrorist attack occurred at 05:11 at dawn on Tuesday, corresponding to (September 29, 2026 AD), on the Taybah Electricity Distribution Station in the city of His Noble Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - (Medina),” according to what was reported by the Saudi “SPA” News Agency.

He added: "The results of the investigation and inferences from the competent authorities have proven the involvement of the terrorist Houthi militia in planning and implementing this cowardly terrorist act, through the operational review and the remains of the drone debris used."
