Moscow - Ofoq News - The Presidential Scholarship Fund in Russia announced that it will begin accepting applications on October 1 for a new competition to obtain grants from the President of Russia, which is open to individuals and non-profit organizations from all over the world, according to a statement issued by the Fund.
The statement explained that the competition provides grants of up to 3 million rubles to individuals and up to 5 million rubles to organizations.
Applications close on October 30, and results are scheduled to be announced in November. The Fund stated that the implementation of the winning projects is scheduled to begin on December 1.
Funding will be available in three areas; Within the framework of cultural dialogue and communication, the Fund will support educational and cultural initiatives that enhance mutual understanding between the people of Russia and the peoples of other countries.
The Community and Family Support category covers projects that support parent-family networks, patient support groups, mutual aid initiatives, social ties and communication within groups, and social integration.
The third area, environmental protection, is concerned with projects that focus on preserving wildlife and biodiversity.
