The official spokesman for the coalition forces, the “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” Major General Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed that the leadership of the joint forces of the coalition continues to provide full operational support to the Yemeni armed forces and continues to stand with the legitimate Yemeni government and the brotherly Yemeni people to end the coup and restore the state and its national institutions to build the future of Yemen.

Major General Al-Maliki explained that the ongoing terrorist attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia and repeated practices against the brotherly Yemeni people, including internal siege and forced displacement of citizens from their cities and villages, starving them, plundering and dividing their resources and harnessing them for the benefit of what they call the war effort, insulting tribal sheikhs and members, tearing apart the social fabric of Yemeni society with all its segments, terrorizing women, and recruiting children for its criminal project, are nothing but blatant violations that have brought calamities. And the suffering of Yemenis for many years.

Major General Al-Maliki added: “The Houthi terrorist militia’s attacks on the Kingdom and the attempt to target the Holy Capital (Mecca) and the city of His Holy Prophet (Medina), and the deliberate and systematic targeting of civilians and civilian objects in a number of the Kingdom’s cities (Riyadh, Abha, Khamis Mushayt, Jizan, Najran, Taif and Yanbu), as well as the attempt to target the Kingdom’s ships in the south of the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, calls for the continuation of necessary and necessary measures to deter acts.” Hostility to the terrorist Houthi militia with the aim of protecting the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom, as well as regional and international security.”

Major General Al-Maliki affirmed the Kingdom’s inherent right to defend its sovereignty, protect its security, and take all operational measures to deter this militia and stop its grave violations, based on its national responsibility towards the Two Holy Mosques, its citizens, its national capabilities, and those residing on its lands. It also confirms its continued standing with Yemen and its brotherly people until the state and its institutions are restored, the Houthi terrorist militia is eliminated, and its threat to freedom of maritime navigation in the southern Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait is ended, considering this. The threat undermines regional and international security, threatens freedom of navigation and international trade, is the backbone of the global economy, and harms international regional security and the national interests of all countries.
