Damascus - Ofoq News - A medical source reported to the Syrian News Agency that five civilians, including women and children, were killed in Jordanian air strikes in southern Syria.
The Health Directorate in Daraa reported 8 casualties, including an elderly man, 3 children, and 4 wounded, as a result of the Jordanian air strikes on Daraa Governorate.
The Syrian government said that there was no prior coordination before the Jordanian raids. She added, "We have opened an investigation into the Jordanian strikes and stress the importance of field and security coordination in the border areas."
The Jordanian army had previously announced launching attacks on the strongholds of terrorist organizations in southern Syria, in response to the attack that targeted the Hammoud Church in Karak last Friday.
