Warning of flash floods in the Dead Sea area and the Jerusalem Desert

Jerusalem - Ofoq News - The Israeli Nature and Parks Authority warned of the possibility of flash floods in the valleys of the Dead Sea region and the Jerusalem desert tomorrow, based on the forecasts of the Meteorological Department.

The authority announced a complete ban on entering the valley streams through which water flows, whether on foot or by vehicle, until the water level completely drops, warning that entering them constitutes a danger to life.

It also warned against approaching the edges of the valleys during floods, for fear of their banks collapsing.
