In the footage broadcast by Al-Ikhbariya and Al-Arabiya channels of the moments of the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which shows the projectiles falling on the heads of Umrah pilgrims and travellers, this scene sums up the difference between the one who receives the Guest of God and the one who bombs him, and the one who opens the way to the House of God for him, and the one who makes this road a target for his missiles and marches. In the Kingdom, serving the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims has turned into precise institutional work through the “Guests of God Service Program,” one of which Saudi Vision 2030 programs, in which the journey begins with the visa, passes through the airport, transportation, housing, health, and security, and ends with the guest’s return to his family carrying the tranquility of the place, human generosity, and the prestige of the organization. The state treats the person coming to the Two Holy Mosques as a trust that has come to God, and deserves to be devoted to it with precious and precious things so that its ritual can be completed with ease and reassurance. While the Houthi militia raises a long slogan that begins with “God is Great,” and goes on to say “Death to America,” “Death to Israel,” and “Curse the Jews,” and ends with “Victory to Islam,” but we did not find America under the bombs at the airport, nor Israel in the arrivals hall. Rather, we found Umrah pilgrims, travelers, airport workers, security personnel, and an elderly man who traveled from the end of the world to reach the Sacred House of God. The matter is not just an attack by a terrorist militia, but rather a question about the meaning of religion for terrorists. For the state, religion is a responsibility, and for the militia, they are just empty slogans whose nakedness is evident in such a video. The state builds airports, trains cadres, opens paths, reviews the experience of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, and searches for the comfort of a sick person, woman, or elderly person. As for the militia, it searches for an image of destruction and a hollow statement of sentiment. There was a shout of victory after the projectiles fell over the heads of the pilgrims. What happened was an assault on the sanctity of the safe pilgrim, and on a road leading to the Sacred House of God. Therefore, the first response before every response is to call things by their spade: whoever serves the guests of the Most Merciful is the one who supports Islam, and whoever bombs them only has an excuse to support Islam behind which he hides to implement his terrorist agenda. There are those who make the guests of the Most Merciful a state project, and there are those who make him a target for his missiles in order to take pride in the death and injury of pilgrims in their delusional victories, and there are those who build, develop and improve the experience of the road to the Haram, and there are those who bomb this road. Under the pretext of “victory for Islam,” and Islam and humanitarian and international norms are innocent of it, we (serve the guests of God while terrorism bombs them).
