At the same time, the Yemeni government forces confirmed that drones continue to target the Houthis and their gatherings on various fronts, as part of the ongoing military operations.

The armed forces statement accused the Houthis of continuing to target civilians and civilian objects, including educational facilities, considering these attacks a violation of international humanitarian law and the principles of protecting civilians.

These developments come amid an escalation of operations on a number of contact lines. Al Arabiya's correspondent had reported, earlier on Wednesday, that Yemeni warplanes had targeted Houthi reinforcements in Al-Juba, south of Ma'rib, in addition to gatherings of the group along the lines of contact south of the governorate.
