Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of the towns of Hadatha and Barashit in southern Lebanon this morning, Tuesday, and an Israeli drone dropped a sound bomb on a house at the outskirts of the town of Haris in southern Lebanon.
Israeli forces also opened fire with their machine guns at dawn towards the town of Bayout al-Sayyad and the outskirts of the town of Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.
The shelling comes amid the ongoing Israeli escalation in southern Lebanon, where border areas and surrounding towns are witnessing the flight of drones and warplanes, along with intermittent artillery shelling, coinciding with field movements, which exacerbates the damage and increases fears among residents in their towns.
Israel has been waging war on Lebanon since March 2nd, following the launch of rockets by Hezbollah towards northern Israel. Israeli forces have occupied several towns in southern Lebanon.
A ceasefire was announced on June 20, after which the pace of Israeli targeting in southern Lebanon decreased.
