For the third time, the American “Justice Ministry” files charges against former FBI Director James Comey

- The US Department of Justice has brought criminal charges against former FBI Director James Comey for the third time. According to court records unsealed on Monday, Comey faces charges related to “leaking a sensitive national security document” during his tenure as director of the FBI in October 2016.

There are not many additional details available in court records, noting that the charges were first brought against Comey before the Washington DC District Court on October 5, that is, 10 years after the alleged leak of the document. Comey also faces a separate criminal charge in North Carolina, related to allegations that he threatened President Donald Trump via a social media post.

It is reported that a previous case against Comey was dropped.
