“Customs”: 8,000 liters of smuggled fuel were seized in Bethlehem Governorate

Ramallah - Ofoq News - As part of joint security work with Preventive Security, the Customs Police Service, and as part of its continuing efforts to combat fuel smuggling and protect the national economy, was able today, Saturday, in Bethlehem Governorate, to seize a tanker loaded with approximately (8,000) liters of smuggled fuel.

The agency confirmed in a statement that the seized items have been seized, and the necessary legal procedures are being completed in accordance with the rules, in preparation for referring the file to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action.

The agency also stressed the continuation of its monitoring campaigns in cooperation with the security establishment and the competent authorities to pursue fuel smugglers and anyone who tries to harm the national economy.
