Tel Aviv - Ofoq News - Ofir Falk, foreign policy advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said that Israel is close to creating the appropriate conditions to overthrow the Iranian regime, noting that these conditions are being formed at the present time.
In an interview with the Jerusalem Post, Falk said: “I think we are very close to creating these conditions, and they are taking shape at these moments, as we speak.”
These statements coincided with a report published by the Israeli newspaper “Kiba”, citing the Emirati “Eram News” agency, based on security and military sources in Lebanon, which stated that Hezbollah had received new Iranian directives to raise the level of its military readiness, in preparation for the possible outbreak of a regional confrontation.
According to the report, members working permanently in the party were summoned and directed to new and secret locations, amid estimates that a possible confrontation may be imminent.
The report indicated that the Iranian role in supporting Hezbollah is not limited to financing and arming, but rather includes supervising the rebuilding of its military capabilities and strategic coordination between the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the party.
He added that, according to the sources mentioned in the report, Iran is working to reorganize the party’s military units into smaller, more independent groups, allowing them to continue fighting and making decisions even in the event of a breakdown in communication with the senior leadership or the assassination of senior leaders.
The report stated that this plan is based on the efforts of about 100 Iranian Revolutionary Guard officers who were sent to Lebanon after the ceasefire in November 2024, with the aim of retraining fighters and applying new combat methods.
